On Thursday July 2, 2020 the Johnson County Commissioners voted to support the mask requirement that was issued by Governor Kelly of Kansas. Businesses open to the public are required to comply with the order.
Effective Monday July 6, 2020 Diamond will require all employees to wear a mask while in the facility. This includes all common areas such as, the lobby and front desk area, restrooms, staff rooms, preschool room, dance rooms and gym areas. The only area that will not be required to wear a mask is in private offices. Masks will also be required outdoors when 6 feet social distancing can not be maintained.
Children and Athletes 6 years and up will be required to wear a mask in all common areas as well as the restrooms. They will be allowed to remove their masks during their class and workouts only.
As we continue our current safety plan, all students will enter through the front door and be picked up in the back of the building. Safety is our number one priority for our employees and customers. We appreciate your continued support of Diamond as we stay strong during these ever-changing times.
